my mouth tastes all weird now due to all the chlorine filled water i drank at the pool today.
and my hair is like super dry now.
aftermath of swimming.
it's been eons since i went swimming, i think the last time i went is like secondary one?
one and only failed attempt to learn swimming. haha
which means it's... let me count, six or seven years since i last went swimming! wow.
swimming or whatever that is called before you actually learn how to swim, is actually pretty nice.
i like the feeling in the water.
no wonder people always say they like swimming because it can destress.
anyway, my goal is to learn swimming so i can go snorkeling!
snorkeling, snorkeling, snorkeling. *starts a chant*
i think my body clock is screwed up againnnn after i stopped working.
sigh, i must sleep early and wake up early man.
it's unhealthy.
and there's little blisters like things on my palm for quite a while.
it's starting to irritate me.
should i see a doctor about it or something?
heard some news and cyber surf a little.
so i was thinking, what if one day i die?
then how will the people around me react?
will they cry, will they hurt, will they regret?
how many times have we heard that life is fragile, life is short, yet we did nothing about it.
because nobody would believe that today will be the last day for them, or for their perfectly healthy friends.
because we dont believe that young people do die, dying feels like something for grown-ups, for the elderly.
we see news and hear about young people dying, sometimes in accident or in disaster.
but it all seems so foreign, so... out of touch, out of reach.
only if it actually happens around us or to us, then we realise.
so are all those quotes about "living life to the fullest" & "treasuring what you have while you have it", nothing?
i mean we have seen those quotes so many times that they lost their meanings, we feel numb towards them.
we know but we do not know.
but i'm an optimist.
and if it's pro-choice or pro-life, i choose life most of the times.
so yeah, i still choose to believe.
and maybe once in a while like now, when life throws you a reminder.
then you will remember and live by the quotes.
at least for a while.
