so i have decided to be a little less lazy and finally update the post on corina's birthday surprise which was like in april. 21st april 2007 to be exact.

21/4/2007



this was the rose that corina received.
honestly, it was the biggest rose blossom that i have seen, not that i have seen a lot of roses.
so, that day after school, there was a little commotion involving a certain someone giving corina cookies and rose for her birthday presents. heh.
then after that we went "home" without any celebration for her though there was already a plan that she did not know, of course.


so we headed to IMM in search of her present and decorations.
after hours of searching, we still couldnt wat we wanted so we jus headed to corina's hse.
we were doing streamers with papers we bought at IMM while watiting for the shuttle bus, and this attracted lots of stares from the ppl around.


and while shopping in IMM, i saw this really cuuuuute~~ girl.
she was jus sitting there on the floor, right in the middle of the mall, all by herself watching the show on the tv while eating pear.
she din even want the chocolate we offered her. LOL.
so cute~ she was very focused on the show.

back to the topic.
so we rushed to corina's hse while she was out on an errand.
we quickly locked ourselves in her study room and decorate her room.
and as planned, she was indeed surprised when she found out we were in her room too with her sisters. haha.
aiya. too bad we didnt have any photo of her shocked expression.
we ate all the finger foods that her mum prepared and learned a new game(courteousy of her da jie), advanced heart attack, which was super noisy and exciting. :D

though it's very long ago,
happy 16th birthday, corina!
hope you enjoyed our surprise. :]

oh, & here's the cutting cake ceremony. i have yet to get the others videos from our photographer of tt day. heh.

Sometimes as we rush to move forward, day by day passed and we forget to stop and take a look, to reflect and to feel. All in the name of Busy. I would say that this Friday's sickness came just at the right time as I forced myself to take a much needed break. As I'm laying on my bed now, I try my best to not think about my trip tomorrow for fear that I may start panicking. Now that I think about it, I must have been crazy to book an air ticket to Europe two weeks before the flight. 5 weeks in Europe and less than 2 weeks of planning! What was I thinking? And we are only two girls. I didnt even thought about going to Europe after I came back from exchange since I was immensely broke. Well, but I have to say somewhere along the way someone planted that thought in my head. Even though I kept throwing it away and telling myself it's impossible, signs keep popping out and gave me the hope again. And indeed, somehow things that are bad started clicking together and turned for the better. It is like the universe wanted me to go. As always it's the pre trip jittery and I as usual is not prepared at all even under prepared this time. I always start off a trip with uncertainty and come back full of memories.
